About Us
Jeff Link is an Iowa-based consultant and attorney with more than 30 years of experience in government, politics, communications strategy, and infrastructure development at the state, federal, and international levels. His background spans campaign leadership, public affairs, paid media strategy, data analytics, public opinion research, and crisis communications.In recent years, Link has expanded his portfolio to include advising on long-haul and middle-mile fiber optic infrastructure development, including project strategy, regulatory navigation, and public-private financing structures. He also advises clients on energy and site selection solutions for data centers, aligning connectivity, power access, and zoning requirements to support hyperscale and regional development projects.Link’s political experience includes senior leadership roles on presidential and U.S. Senate campaigns. He was the first staff member for Gov. Bill Clinton’s presidential campaign in Pennsylvania in 1991 and later served as campaign manager for Senator Tom Harkin’s successful 1996 reelection. From 1997 to 1999, Link served as Harkin’s Chief of Staff in Washington, D.C., before returning to Iowa to obtain his law degree from Drake University, graduating with honors in 2002. He won the National Moot Court Championship in New York City in 2001.While still in law school, Link founded Link Strategies, managed Gore’s Iowa Caucus and general election efforts in 2000, and led Harkin’s 2002 reelection campaign. In 2008, he served as Deputy Director of Paid Media and Research for the Obama for America Campaign, overseeing paid media, polling, and ad strategy in 25 states — including seven battleground states where President Obama won six.Throughout his career, Link has directed dozens of issue campaigns, referenda, and grassroots mobilizations. His firm has led more successful local bond, E911, and gaming referendums in Iowa than any other. Notable efforts include the Polk County Jail Referendum (2005), Lyon County Gaming Referendum (2009), and multiple county infrastructure campaigns. His approach blends message discipline, audience targeting, and coalition development.Internationally, Link has advised political campaigns in Ukraine, Hungary, Ghana, and Kenya, helping guide message strategy, polling, and electoral communications in high-stakes environments — including a presidential run-off in Ukraine and a successful presidential campaign in Ghana.
